America's business community may not have started the class war, but it's hell bent on finishing it.
Among increasingly obvious signs of elite discontent with the Obama presidency, a political action committee representing 40 wealthy businessmen (and one woman) took out a full-page ad in today's USA Today excoriating the POTUS for "maligning" business achievement and setting Americans against each other. The group told The Daily Caller's Alex Pappas that the ad, dubbed "An Open Letter to the American Public," was drafted because the Obama administration was waging a "wrong and inappropriate class warfare" that threatens to undermine America's free enterprise system. "Americans deserve solutions, not political ploys," the letter states. Among those who signed off on the ad are former General Electric CEO Jack Welch, Sirius Radio's Mel Karmazin, and its sole female contributor Lauree Moffett, a Texas mother and co-founder of the Dell Children's Women's Trust in Austin.
